Kind of wondering why any motor home would need this type of commode?
How does it operate? And why does it have electronics on it? I guess
next time were having a Wanderlodge get-together I will haft to check
into the newer Wanderlodges and see what this unit is all about. But
untill then I will just haft to flush the old fashion way.

You can read about Microphor products at <http://www.microphor.com>

Both the air and electric Microphor toilets allow the toilet to be
positioned with more flexibility. Traditional RV toilets must be
placed directly over the black tank. The air or electric models do
not need the direct routing. I'm not familiar with the specifics of
the electric models, but the air-operated toilet in my coach
"flushes" into a chamber below the bowl. Then air pressure is used to
move the effluent on to the black tank. The toilet only requires 1/2
gallon per flush (and usually that's sufficient -- better than some
"low flow 1.6 gallon per flush home toilets).

A side benefit is that the connection to the black tank is indirect,
so odors are less likely to be drawn into the bathroom from the black
tank during a flush (especially if the roof-top fan is running in
exhaust mode).
