Slide Out Installation - d.mckendree - 06-06-2007 08:33 Is there any company that would install a living room slide out in a 43- LXI. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks Slide Out Installation - Peter T. Arnold - 06-06-2007 09:44 I'd be betting that it would not be cost effective. Slide Out Installation - Leroy Eckert - 06-06-2007 10:23 I looked into that possibility a couple of years ago. Having hydronic heat, steel ribs on the side of the coach, and many other issues I backed out. There is a company in the Kansas City area, Premier Coach Services, http://www.premiercoachservices.com that provides the service. There is another one in the Phoenix area and I cannot remember the name. Check yours to see if it has a two 2 x 6 box section steel beams running under the basement cross members and stretching from the front of the bus to the back. The box sections have additional diagonal bracing tying them together. If your LXi has these components then it's slide ready; otherwise, you have a big project ahead of you.
