tickfaw state park - Tim Hannink - 03-26-2007 01:44

I spent the weekend at Tickfaw State Park in Louisiana. It is very nice
with large treed lots (around 28 total) in the RV area. There are no
sewer hookups, only a dumpstation. There was a craft fair in the park
last weekend and the campsites were unavailable on ReserveAmerica.com
but 4-5 spots remained empty all weekend. It would be empty during the
week at this time of the year.

I spent the weekend before at Percy Quin State Park in Mississippi -
thats about an hour north of I-12 on I-55. This is another very nice
state park with full hookups. It was full that weekend but cleared out
on Sunday afternoon.

Good luck,
