FC batteries? - Keith Strehle - 02-21-2007 05:42 How many batteries are there in the FC? I can't get the access door under the passenger seat open. I'll remove the hinges this weekend. Are there batteries inside? There are four(?) new batteries under the drivers seat and the one for the genset. There should be two more correct? FC batteries? - Wilhelmus Schreurs - 02-21-2007 05:54 Wrong, what you mentioned is what you get LOL The four batteries under the drivers seat is for starting and house, and a seperate one for the genset. There is a tie between the two with a switch on the dash called "Aux Batt" or something like that. Also look under the Wanderlodge forum files and you will find 1984 drawings, I do not know if they print out very well though. Bill 84 FC 35 SB "$quanderlodge" Terrace, B.C. Or it could be the cable pulls that work with the latch. Might try reaching in behind the door with stiff wire with a hook on the end and pulling on the cable. No sure if there is room to do that. Someone more familiar with the batteries will chime in. Curt Sprenger 1987 PT38 8V92 "MacAttack Racing" Anaheim Hills, Calif. Keith Strehle wrote: > How many batteries are there in the FC? Fullenwider - 02-21-2007 06:19 Keith: Now is when knowing the year of the Coach comes in handy. In '85, they placed a separate battery try on the curb side under the co pilots seat, making the total of 6 batteries, plus one in the gen set. Or at least that is how my '85 was set up and it was or looked Factory. The Redi line was moved from the curb front compartment to the street compartment where the chargers are, in '85. In '84, the rediline was still in the front compartment leaving little or no room for the bat tray. The registration says Bluebird 1985/Year Model 1984? Could be either one I guess? I'll know for sure when I get that dang door open!
