FAN BLADE FOR AIR CONDITIONER - putneyflash - 11-10-2006 11:06

I am tryng to bring my dash air back to life on my 1983 FC-35 SB
When i got the condenser installed and engergized i discovered that
the white plastic fan Blade on one motor is broken. I have called blue
bird, they don't carry them any longer. does anyone know when to get
one.??

Consider replacing the condenser with a 134a compatible unit. I used Red Dot.
Make sure you replace the receiver dryer and expansion valve. I got to do mine
twice because I didn't do the e/valve the first time, got clogged with debris.
Randy Dupree helped me out a good a bit on the rework and it's still working
fine.

I can't find the receipt, I found it on the Red Dot website, located a local
dealer and had them get it for me. The one I chose has two fans on top is
roughly 3 times the capacity of the original R 12 unit. 134 needs more
condensor.

Mike,
Check this link. http://www.tknw.com/Products/RedDot/Condensers.asp

Any of the two fan units look like what you used?
