Blue Bird Information - Howard Leap - 10-26-2006 01:04

Please forgive me as I have not been around this forum for the last
year and a half. I had to put my Wanderlodge Wanderlust on hold for
personal reasons and have been recently been rebitten by the Blue Bird
Bug. There are a few nice Coaches I have been looking at on the
internet and wanted to gather a few peices of key information before I
started inquiries.

Could someone fill me in as to the status of the company? Are the
offically Out of Business? Where do you find get parts for a 10 year
old Bird? And especially, where is a good place to get a Bird serviced
in the Houston area?

Thanks Much,
Howard Leap
Houston, Texas

Hi Howard,
Blue Bird ownership has changed hands numerous times but they are still in
business. BB
is one source of parts and since much of these coaches use components found in
trucks
and buses, you can find many other parts from a wide variety of sources.

I've used Birdland Coach Services in Houston on a few occasions for a variety of
repairs. I
understand they were once an authorized BB warranty repair facility so they have
some
knowledge of these coaches. They now work mainly on Prevost. Leslie Singleton
is the
owner/manager. Address and phone is 5115 Rosslyn, Houston, Tx, 713-682-6323.
