Flxible Bus on Ebay (item number: 221227485002).

It's a 1949 which means it's not really a Starliner. It's more likely a Clipper with a Starliner badge on it. Clippers had leaf spring suspension. Nonetheless, it's great fun to look at!
out of my league, looks like a Jay Leno deal to go with his 1949 Harley .
They were originally powered by a Buick straight 8, and I think a 4 speed gear box. The college I went to had one that was used to transport the sports teams to away games.
This one is gorgeous, alot different than that school bus.
I often see the Krispy Kreme Cruiser heading south on I70 just north of Charlotte NC. It's a 1960 Starliner which has the torsilastic suspension. It's the one to have IMPO. Smile
Krispy Kreme Racing? (saw that on the site)... that is almost an oxymoron isn't it? I like the Flexible - it's very cool
Can you believe they found new old stock windshield? In this age of JIT manufacturing and inventory, its hard to imagine they made/warehoused enough windshields to supply one all these decades later. Krispy Kreme only makes stuff 4 hours in advance.
And, yet another flexible on ebay: item number 300912654580, complete with a rather colorful description.

Great bus and for a good cause as well! God, if I only had a garage to put all the toys I want!Angel Thanks for sharing!
It must be the time of year to sell flxibles. Here's another one on Ebay.

Notice how the center isle is sunk. That little bit is enough to let me stand upright w/o hitting my head.

Talk about rivets... Smile
While we're on the topic of Flxibles, here's one that appears to have all the pieces. :-)
