Well, David, thanks to your good help, I have proofed all the wires to the unit; power, ground, data lines, etc. All wires to the ECU are good so the problem is in the Pro Driver unit, itself. That is not what I wanted to hear but it is what I needed to know.

I contacted the manufacturer to see if the unit is repairable or if a new unit is available as I don't believe they are available from Detroit Diesel anymore. I will post the results of the enquiry when I hear from them.

Thanks for the help.
I was told by a DD dealer that the PD was a Freightliner product that was sold by Detroit
Below is the response I received from the manufacturer of the Pro Driver unit.

Mr. Fox,

I am sorry. But, the ProDriver is an obsolete product that has been out of production for well over two years. I don’t think that Detroit Diesel has made any provisions for replacement or repair of units in the field. We do not have any means here to do repair as all of that material was exhausted long ago with final builds. As you can imagine, you are not the first person to raise this question. Again, I am sorry. But I don’t think there are any sources for repair or replacement in the marketplace.
