I heard on CBS this morning that "fuel prices have risen for 32 straight days",
per their report. They were talking gas of course, which has indeed fluctuated
pretty much from day to day around here during that period.
Diesel on the other hand had been fairly stable around here at about $3.75 until
this past week. During that time, the nearest Valero station to my house went
3.79, 3.89, 3.97, 4.04 to 4.09 just on Saturday. Kind of some dramatic bumps in
there. And here I was just reading about how the US is nearly self sufficent on
oil now due to increased production. Although export news says we are exporting
refined fuels now at a high level.
Good thing we didn't buy these things for fuel mileage!
