I just bought an'88 WB PT40 in Louisiana and drove it home to Alaska
last month. For the first half of the trip the temp was rock solid at
about 180. Halfway through the trip the temp started to constantly
climb to 195 where the fan would come on and cool it back to 180. It
does this all the time now whether we are in the hills or on the
flats. I have had the thermostats and water pump changed and it still
does it. I don't think there is any danger because it never gets
above 195. Do any of you see your temps regularly climb to 195 and
then back to 180 as a constant cycle?
