I've been unable to find any info source giving an estimated date of re-opening
of the Alaska highway.

If you know other RVers who are headed to Alaska, please forward this message to
them.

As I recalll the Alaskan HIghway starts in British Columbia at Fort Nelson, goes through the Yukon and ends in Alaska short of Fairbanks It rained almost everyday on my trip which made driving on the dirt roads (top of World Highway) interesting. The rumors and stories of the highway are well documented and true; however the road is passable.
Dawson City is well worth the time and extra miles but Chicken is not worth the effort. I guess I expected too much in Denali and thought Yellowstone to be better. I found the best spots for overnighting were in the Yukon. The Canadain boarded crossings are something else. When you were the only rig at the crossing the agents went through your rig with a fine tooth comb. At Skagway it must have taken me a half hour to get across.
Lots and lots of trees. I wouldnt
let a 'highway uner repair stop me......................go its a great trip if you take you time
