I have hydraulic oil leaking from leveler cylinder
dose anyone know where to get new seals
or even better I live in port charlotte florida anyone know where to get it
fixed any idea on the cost
I would greatly apprciat your input

Are theÃÂ jacks the kick-down style? If they are, is it the kick-down cylinder (the smaller one) or the liftÃÂ cylinder that is leaking.ÃÂ

I'm experiencing the same with my HWH levelers as Jamie. We have the same
model and year. Coincidentally, earlier today I stopped in at United RV in
Fort Worth to check on repair costs. I believe they are the only authorized
HWH service center in this part of Texas.

Labor cost per jack was estimated at $500, with any unusual circumstance and
parts extra. They also cautioned that the pistons of a 21-year-old coach
could easily be scored or pitted to the point that a new jack would be
required.

I'm not sure what average labor rates are but United gets $120, and for that
kind I think I'll pull mine off to save the R&R labor and just have them do
the rebuild. Either that or just plan a trip to Moscow, IA next summer.

Something I should have mentioned before. HWH has a series of online
tutorials on understanding and servicing their equipment. This could be very
helpful if Jamie decides to do his own work.

I had my front actuator replaced at FMC rally in Madison- $175.00 A hydraulic shop could do the repairs cheaper.

Gary, I've not been able to find that on their website. United RV told me
there are refurbished jacks available too, but I didn't get a price on that
either. Might be worth a phone call if someone is patient enough to wait for
the return call. I understand they understaffed and are backed up, and that
it sometimes takes days to get a return call.

For what it is worth, I had one jack start leaking while we were in Nebraska two years ago.Â A local outfit that repairs tractor hydraulics rebuilt the jack for me.Â Parts were $19 and labor was $55.Â No problems since.
