This is odd, I had no issues with the maiden voyage last weekend. Went back to
the storage yard this morning to do some clean-up and the generator will not
start. Thinking that it may be a dead battery (not sure why, the battery is less
than 3 months old), I tried pressing the button on the dash board that links the
batteries together with the engine batteries, but still nothing, not even a
click when pressing the generator button. Any help would be appreciated.

Jerry,
The gen control box, located in the lower left of gen fan bay, the little black button, turn it counter clockwise and remove the fuse. Test the fuse. I've had to replace that fuse a couple times over the past 7 years.

try all of the start button for the genny
I have three on my 2000LX not sure on yours one in galley,one on dash and one on the genny, there is also a reset button my genny.
