Hey Don,
How did your Stainless hold up from Iowa 80? I bought some chrome road lights
there 3 years ago and they are nothing but rust now. I mounted them on top of my
back bumper on my pickup for backing into my WA place in the forest during
winter when it is so misty and foggy. They are not in a bad position and are in
fact shielded by the truck from most weather and road debris. Living on the
coast that is pretty bad as things don't rust too easily here. The words " off
shore" come to mind.
Cheers

two-piece, which makes it impractical to easily check the oil level on the tags.

The stainless is fine. All of my chrome nut covers, front hub caps, and top hats
were rusty, so I replaced everything. Did the nut covers in the spring of '08,
and the rest that summer when I passed through Iowa. Since then I lost one hub
cap and a couple of covers - bought two caps and 10 nut covers so plenty of
spares with me.
