Ruff Diamond is on 50 amp. with electric heaters on as well. Cabinets are
open and I have the bed board propped open. The freeze heaters kicked on
under the kitchen sink and fresh water space under the bed. The kitchen
freeze heater under the sink puts out heat but the one under the bed does
not, will replace that one at a later time. Used the IR temp gun to check
the chill on the copper pipes in the Coach and they are staying at 43F with
the set up I have going now, so feel confident.
I have already been camping in low teens and single digit temps and know
the gen set will start but I do have to pre heat for about 20 seconds or so.
Last winter, we had a solid week long power fail here and spent that entire
time in the Coach out on the RV pad with gen set running and 2 extension
cords going to the neighbors for small elect heat in their homes. Thus far
in this frozen mess, we have not lost power here in Duncan.
Stay warm everyone. I will try the graded but iced streets later today to
pay bills. If not, well, there is always Coffee and Kahlua,,, ahem.
