Thanks for the kudos but it is a Team effort totally. And a Team I am
honored to be a part of.
As everyone who owns a Bird knows, since the demise of the Wanderlodge side
of the Bluebird Factory, and having gone through a few companies who's sole
effort was to make a quick buck, sell off the parts of a Great Name and
Reputation then cut and run, the final status, as always in the past, has
fallen to the owners of these fantastic machines.
And if Pride, courage, steadfastness, to name a few, describes a Bird
owner, and those things are considered a bad thing, then I am bad to the
bone for sure, as are most of the owners on this and other Forums of
Bird's. We remain loyal to a product that led the industry for decades, in
innovation, product improvement and by demanding higher standards from
those companies that supplied the various parts that went into a "rolling
home with panache!"
So when any part of these fantastic machines and or the owners there of,
stands out in the fore front of an organization such as the FMCA
International, I don't know about any one else, but I tend to hold my head
a little higher, stand a little more erect, have a healthier hand shake and
a brighter smile, and I most certainly "WILL" continue to be a member of,
and support something that represents the whole of we Wanderlodge Owner's,
before the entire World and Country, and what's more, doing it very well.
Charolette and I just sent in our Club Dues in that support and with Pride
in doing so.
While I am on this Soap box, I would like to issue the challenge to all
Bird Owners, each and every one of the Members of Bird's, does not matter
which Forum they like to read or follow, each of you have a little slight
or trick or how to, that has worked for you in the past and continues to do
so. So the challenge is this; Send those bits of information into the
various Folks doing the News letter and add to everyone's knowledge bank,
you will be mentioned for the tip or recipe or task or hobby or what ever,
and in doing so, will help cement the Pride in Ownership into a central
media to be shared by all! Thanks to everyone for putting up with the
article and the length of it.
