I am looking toward making a bid on a 1979 bus.
When I observe closely, it seems to me that that the wheels appear too far back
by, perhaps 1 1/2 inches. I don't see anything, such as the appearance of having
been rear-ended, which would push the body forward on the chassis, nor anything
else of visual significance wrong.
Is this normal? If not is it serious? ...easily fixed?
This model uses leaf springs, at least in the rear. Might they have slipped or
sagged? What should I look for?
P.S. I haven't seen it drive yet, due to, you guessed it, dead batteries.
