My porch light seems to have a mind of its own because sometimes
I will return to the coach after a racing event and the light will be on
even though the switch is off. (no alcohol involved - well-- maybe a
little).

The Amber porch lights usually have a On/Off button at the base of the lamp
housing, these become intermittent, Jumper or wire past this switch inside the
light.
