I have a dometic 7030 in my offset isle pt-42. Refer seems to work most
of the time. I suspect the board needs replacing. I have done this
before where I can access the back refer from outside the coach. In
this coach the refer does not backup to the outside wall and vents
under the coach. I am not sure how to access the board to replace it.I
need to replace it before a upcoming 7000 mile trip. Its a 3 way
refer. Thanks.

I know what to replace it with I just dont know where to find it. I
usually go to the outside of the coach and find the refer hatch. I
dont have one with this coach because it vents under the coach. The
refer board must be somewhere I can access. I just dont see where.
HELP.

Jamie:

Don't have a 42 angle aisle coach, but I do have the 7030. I
suspect
there must be some better access to the back of the fridge. The LP
connection is in the back right corner (as looking at from the back)
and the electric board is right above that. There is also the
electric connection for the fridge. Unless BB gave extra length
for
both of these in order to pull the fridge out forward, There has to
be an access panel.

How can the fridge be vented from below???? Heat rises in order to
cool the fins, There must be a top vent, and a bottom vent in order
to cool the unit. Hopefully someone else with the side aisle can
give
you better advise. Keep us posted.

Mine also backs up to the shower. I have searched every panel, I can
find. It has the roof vent but the not the normal outside wall
access. I would be happy to replace it with a all electric refer but
dont know if the cabinet will have to be rework to make it fit.

HELP. I have looked under, side, every where and not luck. Behind it
is the shower. THanks

Ok Randy,

I also have the Amana side by side, 19 cu. ft. refer. We have a leak
in the water system, i.e. the feed for the ice maker and ice water.
When we had the refer out for other repairs last winter, we thought we
had found the problem to be the hose washer that was hard. However, a
new washer didn't seem to do it.

Problem that we are trying to overcome is, how do you trouble shoot
it? It only leaks when pressure is on and it is very slow. (yet
enough to soak the carpet) To get at the line. etc., you have to pull
the refer out. To get the refer our, you have to remove the doors
which necessitates breaking the water line that goes up the door. I
have not been able to determine if it is the tubing from the angle
stop under the lavatory or the tubing in the refer itself. Have you
had any experience with this that you can pass on?

Thanks,

George Lowry
