[b][b]I made the guy an offer and have gotten the price down to $167.25 each, for 5 units plus shipping. That's not bad for a 15 lbs. Halotron 1 Amerex Fire Extinguisher. [/b][/b][b][b]Unfortunately his shipping is too high @ 48.00 each. The shipping for five was at $200.00[/b][/b]


[b][b]If anyone is interested we could put a group buy together.[/b][/b]


[b][b]I will send him an e-mail with an offer to buy these @ $150.00 with shipping included. Or whatever price we think is reasonable for the quantity we get together for an order.[/b][/b]

I cut and pasted this from the dealers last e-mail to me. I'm sorry guys the
price of $150.00 was obviously over optimistic. I've spoken with him by phone
and e-mail several times, I put on my best game. You know If you can't Dazzle em
with Brilliance, Baffle em with BS

The final delivered price is $200.00 delivered to you, please read the e-mail.

If we can still get an order for the 20 units it's still not too bad a deal for
us.

"Per our phone conversation the other day, you made us an offer of $150
delivered per fire extinguisher. Unfortunately, we are unable to do it for this
price. I did calculations and they would run $20-$40 per fire extinguisher to
deliver. My cost of the fire extinguishers is $150, so for a GREAT price, we can
do $200 delivered. This will save approx. $50-$70 per extinguisher. It does not
leave me much, but the volume will make up for it. The 20 fire extinguishers
must be shipped in a reasonable amount of time. What would you suggest?"

You will pay the dealer directly, I am not doing this to make money, I have no
financial interest, I only wanted these Fire Extinguishers at the best price I
could get and pass along the deal to our community.

I have priced out these units and they are incredibly expensive especially in
this size.

If your still in let me know so far I have 15 units asked for at the old price.
