Howdy, WOGers.

On the way from Spring Branch, TX to Hondo, TX, we have to go through Boerne, TX, down the main street, AKA SR 46. While doing that, our Bird hit a HARD bump. The Check Engine light came on, we had a momentary loss of power, we also heard a buzzing alarm and another alarm that sounded like a bunch of bells ringing. All of this lasts for less than 5 seconds but long enough for my DW Liz, to come unglued!

Does anyone know what that "bells ringing" alarm indicates? We need to solve this problem because Liz is really nervous and is talking about selling our home-on-wheels. We really DON'T want to do that. Comments, suggestions and ideas are welcome.

Jack

Jack: I suggest checking your cables for rubbing. Prior to my mishap, I got an
intermittent tansmission light and buzzer. It was a battery cable shorting
against either the frame of another cable. I am sure you are having either a
loose connection indication or short.
