Just sent this email to those attending Ernie's Dinner tomorrow evening. Great turn out to say the least. The Left (West) Coast just might trap Ernie into staying on.


The names listed below plan to attend the CA Welcome Dinner for Ernie Ekberg tomorrow evening, August 6.2009.

Ernie, start memorizing the names, there will be a test, after the bar closes...hahaha Hell, I can't remember the names...that is why I'm typing them in below.

The Dinner for Ernie was great. All but two were able to attend. Considering the distance several had to travel, I believe I can say Ernie has friends in ALL the right places. He has now met some of his CA friends. I'll post photos next week.Getting up early in the morning to head to AZ. Tom, please post any photos you have. Thanks.

I arrived early in the Temecula area, so I drove out to Tom's RV Resort to find Ernie. The RV Resort is expansive (BIG AREA), more than 500 luxury spaces. I asked a fellow where I could find Tom's plot number. He pointed me to the north west and said "you'll find it" which I did. I opend up the door to Tom's BB and yelled in "i bet you don't know who is coming in" ...Ernie agreed. We introduced ourselves, talked for a few minutes and I headed back to Temecula. Happy Hour was to be 6 to 7 pm. Many of us were there way before so got started with the program. Ernie arrived, was introduced, and we went up
stairs to the reserved dining room. More drinks, orderd food and it was very good. Party pretty much ended about 9:20.

I'm sure all had a great time.
