Hi group,
I have a roof a/c that is a Duo Therm.
Today the mid speed quit. Does this mean the motor is not far behind?
The unit is a 2002 model and worked fine up to today.
Just wondering if others had this problem and I might as well get a new unit?
Been running it almost 24-7 here at Ft. DeSoto in Fla.

Bob - If by ". . .the mid speed quit." you mean the other speeds still work,
then it may be just a bad switch. If the fan motor were done for, then no
blower speeds would work. If the compressor motor were done, then it would blow
but not cool.

Thanks, Bob.
Will see about buying a switch first and see what happens.
