Going to Corpus Christi over July 4th. (I know, I know, not the best time of
year weather-wise, but wife has a relative to visit).

Martha, myself and J.B. Dogg stayed at Gulf Waters RV Park for a week last
Christmas. Nice place,nice folks, a lot of amenities and right on the beach (200
year or so walk).
Remember, you told us to go to Rockport or Port Aransas last fall.
BTW - I bought a $164.00 Porter Cable compressor - I don't know how long it
would take to air up a flat, but I can "top" my tires off in a minute or so.

Glad you like the compressor. Hope you never need it. Hee hee. When you do though, don't forget after you use it to empty it and leave the valve open. Don't want moisture left in there.
Speaking of air, I have a question. Every once in a while I need to start the engine to get a bit of air for the coach after it has been shut down for a few days; maybe to get air for the Dupree dump valves, maybe to get some airfor the step cover that sometimes tends to partially close itself. Can I takemy portablecompressorand air the coach up a bitusing the fitting at the engine compartment? Do I just connect it and let 'er fill, or is there a valve somewhere?

Wiser heads that I can answer your question about your airing up using the
portable compressor. I believe you can from the schrader valve in the engine
compartment, but don't try it on my opinion. I have to do the same periodically,
but I use the aux compressor switch on my dash. I think that was an accessory
on my 94 and it works fine. You don't have to start the engine to do it. Do you
have that accessory on your bird?

Nice place, you'll enjoy. Port Aransas reminds me of Key West in the 60s and a
free ferry runs every 30 minutes or so to Rockport, which Rick Davis calls the
"Texas Riviera".
