I’m Roy Anderson’s widow,
Barbara.  I met some of you when I joined Roy at last
October’s rally at Fort Valley.

As some of you may know, Roy died in Jan
09 from multiple myeloma complications after his bone marrow transplant that he
had in Jun08 failed in Nov 08.  We were blessed to have Roy 13  more
years than the doctor’s predicted back in 1995.  Roy joined your
group back in Mar 2005 after we got the BB from Dale & Patty Tewalt (up in Washington state; now
they are in Alaska).  I want you to know that you (the
BB group) brought joy, laughter, & friendship to Roy as he
progressed through his cancer ordeal. You made the world a better place
for Roy (and me in turn). Thanks!  I’ve been meaning to pass that
along --- but haven’t really found the right time until now.

The BB trips Roy took me and
Stephanie on through the years were wonderful – but I am more of a passenger
than a driver of such a big rig.  I have visited the bird in the storage lot a
couple of times since Roy died and each time
brings sad and happy memories.  The bird has to be used if it’s going to be in good
shape to sell it when the economy gets better, so --- Steve Welch (owner of Equipment
Works in Lorton, VA) has graciously volunteered to de-winterize it and check
the condition of all should someone become interested in it.  I may put it up
on e-bay in another month but am in no rush with so many other things to sort
through and deal with.

I did put a “For Sale” sign up in the windshield about a
week ago and have started to receive phone calls about it which got me moving
to pull some info together.  I know where the blue
box is but I’m sure there is other paperwork related to the bb that didn’t get
filed away --- I just need to sort through things.

I do plan to have the bird up and running at a local
campground (Pohick Bay Regional Park, Lorton, VA) should
anyone be interested in checking it out at the time ---- around 20-23 Jul.   After
that, the BB will be back in the storage lot until we exercise it again to keep
all systems working.

Below is some info I passed along to
one recent caller --- granted, it’s nothing professionally put together --- but
I hear that Randy Dupree is the man to go to for professional assistance in
selling it.  So, Randy --- I may come to you around Aug (if my emotions will
let me) and ask for your help in finding a new, very lucky owner.  I say this
because you guys & gals are wonderful folks and have such a great time
together – you are a great addition to the other good stuff about BB ownership
--- a family.   OK --- moving on.

I’ll be signing off after this e-mail – have an early day
tomorrow and an even more crazy week ahead as I get ready for a trip.  Going to
take my daughter, Stephanie & her friend, for her 16^th birthday
celebration to DisneyWorld --- Roy & I had planned to take the BB; but now
Stephanie and I will be in the camping cabins at Fort Wilderness.  It’s ok --- Roy will be
smiling down on us.

If anyone does have an interest in Roy’s BB, please
include Steve Welch in your e-mail to me or e-mail Steve directly but cc me so
I know of your interest and can be aware of any discussions ongoing about the
BB’s condition --- which is very good actually.  I’m attaching Roy’s
maintenance records which may not be up-to-date yet.

Thank you for your call earlier today.  Here’s
some info I said I would provide on the BB.

As I mentioned, Roy and I really enjoyed
this RV but I am more of a passenger than a driver in this rig – so, I’m
selling it.

Although Roy
had been ill for some time, his death in Jan 09 came too quickly for us to prep
the RV for sale.

So, at this time, I am in the process of
gathering all the info on the vehicle. Earlier today I was thinking about
posting it on e-bay in the near future.

You mentioned that if it works out for you,
your next event to use it would be in about a month and a half --- so, you’ve
spurred me to action. Guess I needed that.

I mentioned to you that Steve Welch (owner
of Equipment Works in Lorton, VA) knows all about the vehicle and has graciously volunteered to
help me sell it.

We are taking it out of storage this
Friday (12 Jun) and will have it de-winterized and all systems checked shortly.

Steve is on this e-mail in case you would
like more info or would like to see it – just keep me in the loop of the
conversation.

Below my signature block & cell phone
number are pictures from the info that was provided us back then --- plus I
added a couple pictures from our collection. When I tried to put the
pictures in a word doc, the doc was too large for e-mails; so, I inserted
pictures right in the e-mail and it seems to be of a reasonable size to not
clog up e-mail in-boxes.

I have a record of maintenance from 1995
to present and will ask Steve to check it to make sure it has all the info his
maintenance records show.

Roy purchased it in Mar 2005 – Roy is either the 2d or 3^rd owner.

I will also ask the other folks familiar
with the vehicle while Roy owned it if they would be available to answer any questions.

The BB Wanderlodge Forum (e-mail chat
group) is a great connection for BB owners to exchange questions & info
with each other. They are all over the country and have get-togethers now
and then. Roy really enjoyed the camaraderie he found among the group.
Since you are into racing, I mentioned the Maxton, NC, land speed trials is an
event (twice a year) that several of the group gather at. You may find
that enjoyable whether you get the BB or not. I’ve included that link in

Front of coach has foldout sofabed, 2 barrel chairs, & shelving.

Rear of coach has plenty of storage bins overhead & dresser.

The rear was modified from twin beds to a King-size Select Comfort
mattress.

What you are seeing is a laundry basket under the middle of the bed.

The folks in the previous pictures were the owners prior to my husband,
Roy.

Dale & Patty Tewalt may not have been the original owners since the
records Roy put together from Dale’s material start
in 1995 and the coach is a 1986 RV.

If you are interested, I’ll get together a list of folks who are
familiar with the coach so that you may talk with them.
