Has anyone replaced the one on the main dash panel? Mine seems to be missing
completely. Just a black and a green wire comming out of the dimmer rheostat
and near by another pair of one green and one black wire with plug in connectors
on the ends.

Has anyone replaced the inverter for the main dash? Mine seems to be missing
completely. There is a green and a black wire coming from the dimmer rheostat
and two similar orphan wires nearby. Any help appreciated.

Get the inverters from Birtles. Easy to install.

The rehostat in my 94 regulates the 12 volts to the inverter not the path
between the inverter and 100+Volt el lights. in my 94 the inverter is a brick
that weighs about 4 pounds and is located near the windshield washer fill in the
genset rad bay. there are two of them but only one works ($400.00?) the one
remaining will power all el's but I put a switch to seperate this as I fear
overheating the inverter?? with my shade tree mod of a tie together.

My coach has the four blue cube inverters which are no longer available. I
bought a replacement inverter but it didn't come with any instructions. Has
anyone done this type of replacement and can tell me the procedure? TIA

Dan: Where did you get the new one? Steve B sells inverters for the dash.
Describe what you have and the wires it has. Usually there are 4 wires, 2
are white the other 2 are colored. The colored wires are your 12vdc input
and the 2 white wires are the 110vac out put.

yes, I bought it from Steve B. It looks like the blue cubes are wired in pairs. Does one replacement inverter replace two cubes? The wires going to the cubes are orange and green.
