Attached are the two Water System diag. for an '83 Bird. I'm assuming they are good for several years after since I ordered diagrams for the 1987 PT.

Greg- we are at 66% of capacity in that section. I know that the photo section, with all that we have there, is still at 1%.

Greg,

Good thought for sure. The difficult part is naming the docs. BB used the same wiring diagrams for one or more models/model years. Naming the docs to include the model/year that it covers would be good.


I spent about two hours naming the PDF files that I had created from BB drawings.

I think the files would be smaller than a typical photo, except for the fact
that the photos are reduced in size.

I agree that for now this is the way to go. JPGs that are essentially B/W compress very small even at high resolution, so whomever's got the PDF files can go for the best output. Besides which we've got 100GB of photo storage plus the ability to upload muliple files at once thanks to the upgrades to Yahoo groups. This should make it easier for people like Curt who have lots of these files.

Yahoo says they're rolling out 100GB storage for the files section but give no dates. Right now the storage limit in files is 100MB...

Curt, if it would save you some effort, and if all are agreed with this direction, I'd be glad to do the PDF -> JPG conversions and uploads. But I don't have the files and would need them via email. Same for anyone else
who wants to contribute schematics and other drawings; I'd be glad to do the conversion and uploading. Ulterior motive: It gets me all the PDF's, and since in three weeks we are goign to head on the road for 7 months it would be nice to have everything in electronic form (we ride with 5 computers and a lot of backup...). We will be on a mission during the trip and I'll post about our plans in the next two weeks. We'll have a website / blog / photo / video thing going documenting the travel and the results of our efforts...

My email is gregy1@... for anyone who cares to take me up on the conversion offer. I'm on broadband and attachments can be up to 20MB, or I have a Sendfile account if someone needs to send something bigger. Just let me know.
