I found a BB Engineering bulletin that refers to a switch that shuts
off the filtered circuits that the master switch doesnt. It says to
locate it in the overhead cabinet beside the left front load center. I
havn't found this load center. Any ideas.

Glenn,

Mine is located in the center overhead where the VCR, Sat. receiver,
etc. are located and it is labeled the "Electronics Master". Hope
this helps.

our switch is in the street side center overhead, behind the
flip up door with the speaker and load center. It is labled electronic
master off/on. It turns off things like montitor panels, digital
clocks, radio and probably more.

Glenn I have a 83FC and the front load center is behind the driver side
head light. I don't know if there is a master cut off switch there or
not.

Glenn, Phil is right. On my 84fc it is just where he said. Only it doesn't
shut off everything in my bird. I shut off both master switch's, the other
being by your right knee, under the dash.
Wish I knew how I can shut off the total deal without taking a battery cable
off.
Any help on this ????????

The master cut off switch is on the shift console. However that switch does
not turn off all of the filtered circuits for example your radio and
monitoring circuits. I had thought that I had uploaded that factory
modificiation into the files section but if I didnt will do it today.

Glen the PT and FC have different configurations and locations that is why
it is so important for everyone to put their year and model coach at the
end of their question. The FC is entirely different.

I HAVE A DISCONNECT SWITCH BETWEEN MY HOUSE BATTERIES AND THE COACH IN
THE BATTERY COMPARTMENT,,, THIS GUARANTEES ALL 12 VDC IS DISCONNECTED FOR
SURE. YOU CAN GET ONE AT ANY BOAT SUPPLY LOCATION, SUCH AS WEST MARINE.
AND I HAVE A DISCONNECT BETWEEN MY STARTING BATTERY, AND THE STARTER,
IN CASE THE STARTER SHOULD GET "HUNG UP" I CAN CUT THE BATTERY POWER TO THE
STARTER TO KEEP IT FROM BURNING UP THE STARTER. DAY IN WARM JAX FLA 83 PT-40

Send me an email. I have part of the BB bulletin that says how to install a
switch that will do as we need. Also says it should have been done prior to our
birds MFG. I'm in KC close to Liberty and would love to see a bird close to
mine. Its the only one I've ever been around and it ain't like anything I've
ever had dealings with. (SOB's)
