Hi group,
Has anybody had this problem?
Turn on headlights and low beams come on ok, but high beams also come
on very faintly.
So far have had replaced dimmer switch, headlight switch, all 4
headlights but no go.
If take the low beams out, the high beam goes off..plug in low beam and
high comes back on. This holds true for both sides.
Any thoughts?

Bruce,
You are absolutely correct, this is a classic bad ground symptom.

Well, got the high beam on dim problem fixed by Ralph here in Duncan,
Ok.
Turns out a previous owner had made the headlight mod ok, but swapped
wires (high to low) on one side and swapped them wrong on the other
side. Also a ground wire wasn't that well grounded.
This problem has been on the bird for about 9 years before it got fixed
today.
Kudos to Ralph for finding this problem. This guy can find ANY electric
problem.
