The torque beam rubber bushings on the Ridewell suspension on drivers
side of my front axle need replacement. The Cat crankcase ventilation
tube is poorly positioned and over the years oil from the vent tube
has continuously saturated the rubber and recently I noticed two of
the bushings (on lower beam) have splits and could fail.
My question to the group is: 1. Who sells the bushing kits? 2. Should
I also replace the rubber bushings on the right side? Who do I get to
perform this heavy task?
I'll see if I can get some photos this afternoon when sun angle is
better.
Thinking about replacing the 4 front air springs (bags) also to
consolidate the labor costs.

During a DOT/CHP inspection the cop spends 30% Of time on the
suspension review. I am always surprised how reasonable and quick
truck suspension shops complete mandated repairs.
Vent tube path is one of those things where the path ' is what it
will be'. to keep the tube clean it is best to make it metal to get
hot. straight and plumb to drip dry . and not long as long will cool
and plug up. I have seen rigs modified where the vent tube was
inserted in a 5 times oversized pipe to direct the flow.

Greg: Thanks for the ideas...I'll call a truck suspension shop.
On the vent tube, maybe just shielding the rubber bushings would also
work.
