Folks,

My bird has 4 air tanks. 2 on either side of the
drive axle above the brakes, 1 in front of the drive
axle, and one behind the steer axle. What does
each do?

Thanks

I do not know the placement on your coach by tank. On mine, there is a wet tank, front and rear brake tanks and an aux air tank. I have three around the dryer in front of the rear axle and one in front above the axle in parts unknown. I installed lanyards.'

Thanks Leroy,

Mine is the same. I assume thee aux air tank provides air to the
suspension, door stairs, drivers seat, and (on my coach) air door
lock?

The aux tank on my coach provides air to all that you mentioned except the air door lock that I do not have, plus the drop down driving lights, step well cover, bulk oil fill, winterization blow out system, dump valves and the left and right fresh air vents. I think that's it.

David Brady

Hi Leroy,

Thanks, I forgot to mention those additional items. They all apply
except I don't have
the drop down driving lights or the bulk oil fill on my coach.

David Brady

I also neglected to mention the driver's air seat. This should also
be powered by the aux tank.
