As I get ready to head coast-to-coast I've been keeping an eye on diesel prices
at FlyingJ.com. I'm happy to report that this evening one station hit $3.999 for
Car/RV diesel (Phoenix, AZ).

I budgeted the trip at $5 per gallon. Where should I spend the surplus? Smile

Our first fuel-stop will probably be in Winnemucca, Nevada, where the price
today is $4.339, then Cheyenne where the price is $4.239. Just about all
stations are down at least 30 cents in the past week-and-a-half, so I have small
hopes for under $4 by the time we hit Cheyenne in another week-and-a-half.

Hello Don,

This past weekend, diesel fuel was down to $4.27/gal at a local oil co in
Manchester, NH.

If you come through Montana, be advised to keep your budget high for fuel. It came "down" 3 cents here in Livingston.

Hey,
I still have a tank full of the vintage $4.89 stuff. I could let
it go for $4.80, anyone interested?

Your right Greg. A couple cents different in the price of gas makes a
fellows day. Now if the market rebounds.. Granny bar the door.
