Hi,
If you were looking at a new tag axle coach, what would you accept as
a CCC (coach carrying capacity)
CCC is a standard term used by the RV industry and is :
GVWR less: UVW (unloaded vehicle weight) less: Full fuel weight
less:full water less: SCWR (sleeping capacity - 4 x 154 lbs.) = CCC
GVWR - UVW - fuel - water(1000 lbs) - SCWR (616 lbs) = CCC
or
GVWR - wet weight - SCWR = CCC
Before year 2000 they used NCC net carrying capacity.
For Interest, reviewing Trailer Life, the tag axle RV's range from a
low of 3300 lbs for the Monaco Dynasty to
9436 lbs for the Newmar Mountain Aire
The Allegro Bus is 4018 Lbs
Travel Supreme Select 6418 lbs.
Would you accept 3000 lbs. Would you worry about resale if this was a
new coach?
Thanks,
