Can anyone tell me whatâs the deal with the very low priced red & white
1980 bird listed for sale on the vintagebirds.com site for $17k? Why is
the price so low? I contacted the owners, and they said Iâd be ready to
roll if I just put new tires on it. Weâre looking to get our first,
donât really care about the non-standard paint, like the price, but is
spooking me because ya usually gets what ya pays for. Weâre looking for
a live-aboard machine for me, the pretty wife and 4 wonderful kids under
4. Weâll be in the States for 6 months and then would like to sell or
store, probably store for 2-4 years before returning to the States
again. While weâre in the âupper 48â itâs all traveling.
