As you may have read last week, my coach wouldn't start. One rebuilt
starter later, everything is fine...except that now my oil press gauge,
which worked fine before the starter problem, is now alternating
between pegged right and pegged left.

Any ideas on how the removal/installation of the starter could have
caused this? What to troubleshoot?

You can check two things. Go to ww2.tflx.com for how to check the gauge. It probably is the sender which on my coach is on the right rear side under the battery bank. It is doubtful the starter has anything to do with it unless some wires got disturbed. Mine failed without warning, and the first new one I got did not work for more than two days.
