I know this site is dedicated to Our Old Wanderlodges but with the
way our government has manage to screw everything up will the next
president do any better?

I just wonder if there are any plans in the future to get our country
back in order or will it be big oil on top and the rest of us
flipping hamburgers.

I really don't understand how we can just sit back on our laurels and
watch our country go down the tubes. NAFTA what a great idea oh yea
it sure was and now look at us!

I would think that our representatives would say enough is enough and
lets get back in the business of manufacturing cars that's get good
mileage and maybe the government could back up new car sales with big
rebates. Or maybe we should just take a good look at our driving
habits and get in the car pooling lanes a little bit more often.

Oh well in another 10 years we will be just another second rate
nation and our life as we have know it will be in the past.

Well I guess I have got enough oft my chest but one more thing how
come our country is intent on going GREEN when the rest of the world
just want to pollute. I kind of feel as we are like an ant and the
rest of the world just looks at us and say's keep up the green and so
we can take over the world.

The President signs all of this garbage, so he's guilty, too. As far
as I'm concerned they're all worthless, Republican, Democrat, doesn't
matter. Why aren't we enforcing immigration laws? We're being taken
over. We don't need more immigration laws, we just need to enforce
what we already have, but nope... they won't do it. On the subject of
oil, we have plenty of it here, but we "can't" drill it because of a
small subset of the population? What sense does that make? So instead
we'll keep buying it from countries that harbor and support
terrorists. Brilliant. You know I'm pretty sure the polar bears can
learn to deal with it.

Maybe this topic would be better suited for wanderlodge_all, though. I
think politics are generally frowned upon here. I'd be happy to
continue this discussion with anyone over there?

people over at that site and I guess if they can kick someone oft a site
that is open to all discussions they must be Republicans and in love
with Mr. Bushes ways of running our country.
