Forum wizz guys:
Anybody been reading this "running cars on water" stuff.
How tough would it be to add a whizzgizmo on my bird and improve fuel
mileage 20-30%? Is it all a scam??
Sure would appreciate some discussion as I have to pay about $2500 in
diesel fuel to get my BIRD to Florida from Vegas.

Hank, dont they teach math in law school?
At 10 mpg and $4. per the gallon a 2500 mile trip cost a grand. at 9
mpg/ $4.5 per the gallon it is $1,250. The trip only cost $600 more
at worst. Folks that get depressed about the cost of fuel and
decline in value of their bus asset should look at the actual
numbers and not listen to the dread. The best way to stretch the
cost of fuel is to add enjoyment the trip. If you add 6 days on the
road for the trip thats only $100. per the day to enjoy America.
Shure there is food to buy but you got to buy food and eat while
you sit at home and watch TV.

With the advances in fuel saving technology and the lessing on
dependancy to fuel, I wonder if the rise in price is a preadjustment
raised by supplier demand economic fear, or is the development and
implementation of fuel saving technology a responce to the high
price?

I assume you are talking about water injection?

I've done a tiny amount of reading on the topic because we get a lot of
customers purchasing some of the items used - aquarium airline parts - in my
business. It was a big thing when unleaded fuels became standard, then dropped
off, and now is making a comeback. The early days it was because old engines
didn't like lower octanes, and now it is the search for economy.

Water effectively increases octane ratings. With diesel, we are concerned about
cetane. Effectively, cetane is the opposite of octane, so I would expect water
to lower cetane. In other words, water can improve the performance of a
high-compression gas engine, but likely would lower performance (perhaps
critically) of a diesel engine.

Hey Greg!
You are correct..no math tought in Law school! However, being a
very HONEST Atty...eeeeehhhhh...I figured my Florida trip on a stop
in Chicago to visit my one friend and then to Florida AND I figured
it on ..6 MPG..remember attys always tell the truth..ask
Scooter..whoops..not supposed to say that here..sorry Ron & Ernie!!
Anyway with a stop in Chicago & then on to Florida, it will probably
be more than $2500....Please excuse any bad comments as I just got
out of bed here in Australia..After all it is Saturday morning..LOL
to all!
