Jim Riordan

I am wondering if anybody can help me.

On my 88 WBWL XXV 8V92 the suspension dump light is flashing on a
regular interval, the suspension is up as well as tag. Does anyone know
where this light is activated from, my guess is that the switch or
sensor is bad and sending that suspension dump signal.

Jim:

I will get into my prints tomorrow and give you the origination of that signal.

You rock. That's why Blockbuster's offering you one month of Blockbuster Total Access, No Cost.

Jim, some lights have 12V + power to the light when the ignition
key is turned on and wait for 12V- completed at the switch then sent
to the light to make the light glow. In other words the switch sends
12V-dc to the light. It may be that the wire to the light from the
switch is grounding out??? Do you get a buzzer noise too??

I will look on Monday for the switch or prints description on my 94pt

Thanks Greg, The light is flashing on a regular interval which is why I thought that the sending unit was bad

Jim:

Power comes from the ignition switch to one side of the suspension dump
timed relay coil, the other side of the coil goes to the suspension dump
switch. The light is connected to a set of contacts on the suspension
dump relay. The other set of contacts go the front and rear suspension
dump sensors.

This info is off '89/90 prints, that is as close as I can get to your
Coach. All of this should be located in the front load center and perhaps
on the '88 there is another small valve for the suspension dump and tag
dump as well.

Sorry I can't get you any closer to your problem than that.
Intermittent problems such as this is usually a bad connection
rather than a bad component. There are 2 different harness plugs the
wires go through as well as the connectors on the relay the switch the
dump switch or even the solenoids

Ralph, my light and a buzzer comes on when the bags bleed out even
if the dump switch is not thrown to dump??? are the 'suspension dump
sensors' pressure switches?

Greg:

Yes they are pressure switches in the system and are "end of the line" for
the electrical control.
