I have noticed recently that my tachometer is drifting from 600 to
around 1000 rpm at idle. It does this without any increase in engine
speed and it does it randomly. I have not driven it any significant
distance recently to notice if it does it on the road.
Any ideas? All information is appreciated.

Hi Gus
My tachometer was doing that when I started it up to come south
in Dec. but when I got out on the road it started working right. It
hasn't given me any trouble since then. I hope it isn't getting ready
to quit working.

the sending unit and pack it with grease that takes care of the
