Henry, that lever is standard with our coaches. I wonder if anyone has salvaged that from Thomas Easthams salvage coach that he purchased?
Or contact the seller on ebay that is parting out the coach there.

Our bus has the Kohler 12.5KW diesel generator and it works great!
There's a lever, under the generator tray, which moves a bar to secure
the tray from sliding out while driving. The problem is that the Lever
mechanism is damaged and needs replacement. My guess is that the system
is a custom job, by a previous owner, but I'm hoping that it may be
found on other birds and therefore someone may know how I can get a
replacement. Thanks. Henry Claeys, 1979 FC 35, 3208 Cat, In New

That locking lever had failed on mine before I purchased it. A previous owner welded nuts to the outside of each of the inner slide rails and burned a hole in each of the outer slide rails. A bolt on each side screws into the nuts and secures the generator. Simple and reliable system. Don't know how it compares to the original locking lever and it does require a wrench to open the generator but it's effective.
