Hi everyone:

Charolette and I just had a nice visit with Dick and Patty Gideon in their
89 FC 35. They are on their way to home base in Mo after being out on the
road for 3 months. It was nice to meet them, have lunch, talk Birds and
swap lies,,errr I mean tell travel stories. Dick needed a new valve core
put in the curb side out side dual so we stopped in at Randy Montgomery's
place and one of his hands had it done in under 5 minutes and they were on
the road.

Safe travels,

Ralph & Charolette: Patsy and I thoroughly enjoyed our brief
enroute visit with you in Duncan, OK on Wednesday March 5th.
Ralph's suggestion for us to park the "Freedom Bird" on the
Fairground's newly paved parking lot (could still see the blue chalk
lines left by the stripers) was less hassle than negotiating the
construction on 11th Street.

This was our first time to meet Raplph and Charolette, and what kind
and helpful people they are!

Following Ralph's walkaround/inspection of our 89FC35SB and sharing
photo albums, we enjoyed BBQ sandwiches, slaw & potato salad (catered
by Charolette and Patsy) in the Bluebird dinette designed with just
enough room for a foursome.

Thanks for the tips...wiring 110V outlet (behind driver) from 1500 W
inverter for laptop power; or add small dedicated inverter powered
from cigar lighter for laptop thereby elimination my unsightly
extension cord from present inverter powered outlet; blow dust from
sensors (5) to reduce false alarms; use long dishwasher brush? for
cleaning inaccessable burners on suburban LP furnaces; carry proper
plug fittings for blocking airlines if an airbag should fail; if
running EQUAL balancing product in the tires, carry a few of the
special filtered valve stems for replacing leakers; carry splicing
fittings for repairing nylon airline leaks; dedicate a compartment
for carrying spare parts and tools.

Oh and the best part, we followed Ralph's work van and stopped in
front of their house to snap a photo of "RUFF DIAMOND" and then East
on State Hwy 7 to Randy Montgomery's tire shop where his crew quickly
installed a new filtered valve core in our RR tire containing
EQUAL...thank you.

We arrived safely back at our South Central Missouri home March 6th
after 15 weeks in Texas...got ahead of the snowstorm!
