My buddy is having trouble with his jacks working on his 92 WB. He has changed
out 2 relays(Is there a 3rd one he hasn't found?) Every thing checks as he has
been instructed by HWH but the pump will not come on. HWH says it should work
by receiving a ground when activated. He can make it(the pump) work by
providing a hot wire, not a ground. Any ideas?

Check the motor by applying power directly to the motor terminal. I
recently had a problem and it was a broken wire under the termianl to
the armature. Any generator/starter shop can repair it if it needs it.
Mine showed practically no wear inside. Will outlast me for sure.

Ron
The pump will run when wired straight with a hot wire. HWH says + terminal
should remain hot, then ground is applied when activated, + is not
hot-ground is not applied.

If the motor runs, then it has to be one of the two solenoids. If
they were replaced, then check to see if they are wired correctly.
I believe the key has to be on for them to be energized. Maybe
not. I'm having a senior moment. Seems like when I replaced one of
my solenoids, it required the addition of a ground wire.

If none of this works, let me know. I'll go out to my coach and run
back through it.
