I am having the injector pump and injectors rebuild but still need to
replace the muffler on the Kaboto generator motor. From the manifold it
is rusted black pipe to a screw on muffler with rusted black pipe tail
piece that has to align and slide into the cone for the exhaust.

Need source for replacement muffler and any ideas on keeping the
threaded pipe aligned properly.

All thoughts appreciated.

On my 94pt the manifold is plumbed to a horizontal pipe that slides
in and out the full stroke and the pipe never leaves the female
sleve. Kinda like a trumbone slide. I think the male pipe fixed to
the kubota is stainless steel. The male sleve is solid mounted to a
bracket cantilevered off the engine block. I think the bracket
function is to remove stress on the manifold when the pipe slides in
and out. I dont think there is a muffler in the genset compartment??
Maybe BB has this slide stroke section with nesting ID/OD pipe or a
source for it
