I called Shurflo today & they said it was a sensor.They said they
would send me a new one free of charge. I just don't know what would
have made it break after three years. there wasn't any pressure on it.

If the pump would been under our bed we would got a lot of water on
the floor. When I turned the water off outside the tank still drained
out through the pump. The only way I could get the pump to quit
leaking was to turn the water on the in & out side of the pump.

If the pipes near the pump are mounted to metal without a rubber
insulator,,,, it may have been ice freeze damage????? or there was a
factory crack all along??????

One other thing could be that when you pressurized the system with
city water, air in the bus plumbing pipes may have been pressurized
by the incomming force of water up against a closed plumbing
system. It is possible to add 60 psi city water to a airfilled,
closed plumbing system and compress the air in the system to over
150 psi. once the running force of water maxes out compression of
air in the closed pipe, the water rebounds and causes a snap action
called "water hammer". When I first pressurize my bus I always
open a faucet to allow the air to escape. I fear park water hammer
backing up to my bus plumbing system so I usully just fill the tank
and use the shureflow to maintain pressure in the pipe.
