Way cool this would make a great toad for Macys sleeperless promo
bus. The fabric on the sofas are fitted perfectly and it has the
same dash as the '09

cut and paste.................
2nd owner, very original Bluebird Wanderlodge FC31. 391 Ford gas
engine runs great. Alison 6 speed automatic transmission, 3 ACs,
Power steering, and power assisted hydraulic brakes. 50 amp
electrical service, copper plumbing. Sleeps 6 well, can transport
10+ in comfort. 31' long.

Excellent visual and mechanical condition. New upgrades or recent
repairs include: brakes, power steering, new refrigerator (Dometic),
new toilet (RV style w/ china bowl), draperies, exhaust (3" custom),
exterior paint (original color), electronic ignition, coil, new
Holly carburetor, kitchen and bath faucets, water pump, fuel pump.

The coach has 120,000 miles, but the engine has less than 30,000
miles (per original owner). The tires have low miles. All cabinets
and doors operate as if new. The counters and sinks look like new.
The wood paneling is in very good condition.

What wrong with it? Not much, but the 5000 kw Onan generator is not
working since ending a recent 2+ year storage. The rear heater
thermostat wire is broken (but the heater can be manually operated).

This coach get you thumbs up when you drive it. We have been
approached by many people who want to tour and talk about it.
Factory Bluebird technicians have told us that our 1967 is as good
they have ever seen for an early FC31 model.

$12,000. Call Lynn at 818-219-3583 (cell).

This bus has quite a history. It is one of the first 50 made. the
orional owner was Fred Jordan of the FredJordanMission still
operating today in LA skidrow. here is a link which I thought was to
my trusted Wikipedia so I am not shure of contents accuracy. (pissed
that they use the same skin as Wiki to fool a trust)

http://www.xfamily.org/index.php/Fred_Jordan

I spoke with the current owner (I think his name is Lynn??)who bought
it from Freds son. The cool part about the owner now is he never
wanted to change the bus from its origional design. even the carpets
are origional. I could think of no greater a rig to pull a classic
muscle car to a show or flat tow a classic bug.

In the advert he claims that motorist pass and give him 'the thumbs
up' when he is on the freeway. I am not shure if it is a thumb as I
see many a sign language when push my fullyloaded dumptruck up hills
on the California freeways.

I would buy it but that would require ;buying a classic toad ;growing
a 1960 'flipover the bald spot' hair cut ;and 12 grand. then trying to
hide it from Tim.

The pictures make it look like it is really out of a time capsule! What a find.
