Looks like we have many "new to me" coach members on the forum. Best wishes
to all of you. Mike Bulriss gets his delivered to him on Fri. I wonder when do
I get one? Ernie 83PT40 in Texas

We picked up the 93WL92V today in Columbus, Ohio.
It received a comlpeted 2nd overhaul last Friday
and had received the 1st overhaul August of 2004.
wheeee!
Mistakes and/or an employee that was
that was making a statment during the 1st overhaul ?
Who knows ?
We are having the tires checked today,
then several other adjustments made on the 18th,
then maybe we can start traveling.
We will see how it goes.
Thanks for all the ideas exchanged on the forum.
Lots of information to digest and consume for the
we new members.

OK, let me get this straight. You had your coach's engine overhauled
in August 2004. Then the engine was overhauled again this year. Hmmmm.
Excuse me, but what happened? Did this coach have a bad engine when
you purchased it? Curious minds want to know.

Hello Liz,

The coach did have a bad engine when we purchased
it however; we did not know it was bad. The previous
owner worked for 3 months getting it corrected...
we are very thankful for his honesty.

The 1st repair was made but, not completed correctly.
The hose from the aircleaner to the blower
was broken off & was sucking in road dirt. Old 1992
bearings were not replaced, but were charged for, the
engine was not cleaned before reassembly.
The engine was destroyed in 1600+ miles.

I drove the WL 100 miles and it blew @ 8qts. of oil,
plus when stopped a 4-5 foot pool of oil would be on
the ground. That is what caused us to take it to another
shop.
The first O/H cost $17,500 and the 2nd O/H $11,700.
It was paid for by the previous owner/1st shop.

It seems to have 20% more power and no more leaks. The
systems and instruments readings have improved. smiling &
smiling... these birds drive fantastic!
