Let's start with the facts; I am not a professional salesman, a
professional mechanic, or an expert on the intricate details of motor
homes. I'm just a regular guy who has a healthy respect for things I
don't understand.

But this has been akin to repeatedly shooting myself in the foot
because it feels good when I stop. I simply decided I want to buy
another motor home and thought this would be a safe place to start
the process. I am not fortunate enough or wealthy enough to own two
of them. I thought I would simply put the word out there to anyone
who may be interested in buying my Bluebird. It was really off the
cuff and intended to be a friendly exchange of ideas. Sort of
like, "Hey, anyone wanna split a pizza"? You know, friendly stuff.
Perhaps it's a difficult concept? It was not intended to be an
invitation to bash me, my motives or my choice of words.

My sincere thanks to those among you who offered positive feedback.
I appreciate it and will make good use of your suggestions.

Perhaps I erred in submitting that post? It won't happen again. I'm
beginning to understand why others have decided to take a pass on
participating in this free exchange of ideas.

Now I know why they call it the "Silly Season".

Keith, I would not take too much offense in any of this. I think
you have to consider that its easy for any of us to talk big on the
net. In addition, with out seeing facial expressions and body
language the wrong slant could be taken. That being said if we all
agreed then wouldn't that be a total bore? Perhaps your post is a
reminder to be a little more mannerly about how information is
exchanged. I personally would rather have some one strongly disagree
with me then to agree just to make me feel good. I am here to learn
from others. I too will speak up and say so when I am offended which
you just did. In all of this you have to take the good with the
bad. I hang around because the vast majority of it is good for me.
If I didn't think so I would like you suggested other have done vote
with my feet.

Perhaps I missed something, but I read the entire thread and didn't
see anything even remotely rude, mean, or for that matter not even a
single negative message directed toward Keith. Are people emailing him
private correspondence that fits this description, or something?

Don't get too worked up over anything someone says to you on the
Internet. We're tossing ideas back and forth with thousands of people
from all walks of life. There will always be someone who says
something you don't like, or doesn't like what you have to say, or is
just in the mood to be a jerk. However, the positive interactions on
all of these forums outnumber the negative a thousand to one, so if
you can shrug off the stupid stuff, you'll be fine.
