Much better than the 4 inches of ice, under the 4 inches of snow and 18
degrees here in the middle of America. It is beautiful, but that is about the
only good thing I can say about it.

In Orange County CA it's cool in the evening/early morning. During the day
about 65 - 70 degrees. Going on a motor cycle ride at 7:00 am in the morning
to Cooks Corner for breakfast. Will be a cool but an enjoyable ride through
the back country.

There's nearly a foot of snow on the ground here in Golden, but the
forecast for the next several days is for highs in the low to mid
40s. That means the pavement is mostly clear and dry -- a big plus
since we're going to try and leave on Tuesday to head south.
I've now resolved that I _never_ want to live where it snows regularly.
