Howdy.

Our Sanyo rear view camera on our 1993 Wanderlodge is kaput, aka doesn't
work. Jack is pretty sure that it will have to be replaced. We don't
know if this camera was original equipment on the coach. I have written
to Sanyo for any authorized repair centers in the San Antonio, TX area.

If you have replaced your rear view camera on your Bird, please write
and let us know about it.

Thanks,

I've replaced mine iwith a colour system for about $450 and written about
it. Whole procedure is in archives of this site or Wanderlodge Owners Group.
All parts came from http://www.rvcams.com Tim the owner is a great individual to
work with.....honest and has fair prices.

Jack, I had this Airstream motor home and the rear camera went out, the
monitor worked. A friend told me that he might be able to fix it, so I
ask him to take a look, when he opened the camera up there was a small,
soldered in, fusible-link that was bad, we replaced it and the camera
worked. He told me that the cameras were sensitive to voltage, and
there could have been a surge when the generator as running.

Hi Jack & Liz,
Our B & W rear camera went out also, so we purchased one from
Stephen Britles for a good price earlier this year. We also,
added a passenger side camera. Both are nice units & work well. I
would do the same thing again if I were to add a camera in another
coach. Stephen has nice products and good service.
Sorry to sound like a walking ad, but the above is true.

I also used a camera from Stephen to add a view from the passenger side. I had
already purchased a fancy new rear camera before I knew Stephen marketed
cameras. The cameras work great. I used two LCD screens and custom fitted them
so I get a continuous view, rear and right side. You can see the installation in
the photo section. I used existing cables, power supplies and the existing on
off switch.

I'd love to see the pictures of your dual-LCD display, but I can't figure
out how/where to find them...

Hogansville is about midway between LaGrange and Newnan, about 45 miles
south down I-85 from Atlanta, about 28 miles North of the Alabama line...
