On our recent trip home to NH from RATS the amber light on the dash,
which usually comes on after turning on the ignition (wait to start)and
goes off prior to starting the engine, came on for a seccond or so at a
stop signe in SC. Again after a traffic slow down after 1/2 hr. I then
noticed the DC Volt engine meter going from the normal 14 V to 12 V, a
short time later the amber light came on again and stayed for 2-3
secconds after the light went off the the meter read up to 15,5V for a
short time before going back to the normal 14V. This continued about 6
or 7 times during the next 600 miles. No repeats from Delaware to New
Hamshire or since.
I Had the 200 amp Leece Neville Alternator checked out by my Mechanic
who found it to work properly with various loads.

Has anyone experienced anything similar?
